Congrats on your new solar system! To make sure you get the most out of it we recommend following this step-by-step guide to setup your monitoring portal with SolarEdge.

Access the SolarEdge Monitoring Portal: https://monitoring.solaredge.com/solaredge-web/p/login

1. Logging into the Portal

  1. Open your web browser and go to the SolarEdge Monitoring Portal: SolarEdge Monitoring
  2. Enter your username and password. If you don’t have login credentials, contact your installer or SolarEdge representative.

2. Dashboard Overview

  • After logging in, the Dashboard provides a high-level view of your solar system's performance.
  • Key Metrics:
    • Current Power: Shows the real-time power generation.
    • Energy Today: Total energy produced so far for the current day.
    • Monthly Energy: Total energy produced for the current month.
    • Lifetime Energy: Cumulative energy produced since installation.

3. System Layout View

  • Step 1: From the main menu, click on Layout.
  • Step 2: You’ll see a graphical representation of each panel in your array.
    • Color Indicators: Panels are color-coded to represent current performance (green for normal, orange/red for underperforming).
  • Detailed Panel Data:
    • Hover over a specific panel to view real-time performance data or click to see a detailed view of the panel’s production.

4. Energy and Production Charts

  • Step 1: Select Charts from the main menu to access detailed production data.
  • Step 2: Choose the time range (daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly) for the data view.
    • Energy Chart: Shows total energy production.
    • Power Chart: Displays real-time and historical power output.
  • These charts help analyze performance over time, spot trends, and detect any unusual dips or peaks in production.

5. Setting Up Alerts & Notifications

  • Step 1: Navigate to Settings in the upper-right corner.
  • Step 2: Select Alerts & Notifications.
  • Step 3: Choose the types of alerts you’d like to receive (e.g., inverter offline, low production).
  • Step 4: Customize notification preferences, such as email or SMS, to stay informed of any issues.

Alerts help ensure timely maintenance if performance dips or equipment needs attention.

6. Environmental Impact Metrics

  • Step 1: From the Dashboard, locate the Environmental Benefits section.
  • Step 2: Here, you’ll see data on CO₂ emissions avoided and the equivalent of trees planted, based on your system’s energy production.
  • This section is valuable for sustainability tracking and sharing environmental benefits with others.

7. Generating and Exporting Reports

  • Step 1: Go to Reports in the main menu.
  • Step 2: Choose the report type you need (e.g., production, environmental).
  • Step 3: Select the desired date range and format (PDF or Excel), then click Generate.

This feature is helpful for detailed analysis or sharing production data with stakeholders.

8. Support & Help

  • Step 1: In the upper-right corner, click on Help or Support.
  • Step 2: Here, you can find FAQs, guides, and contact information for SolarEdge customer support.
