New Customer FAQs
Here are some common questions we get from new customers.
There are multiple ways to turn off your solar system. The fastest way to do so is to locate the emergency shut off labelled with a red placard “AC Disconnect” and pull the lever into the “OFF” position. Additionally, you can turn off your solar system by switching the breaker labelled with a red placard “PV SOLAR BREAKER” to the off position. Finally, you can also turn off your solar system by locating your inverters and switching them to the off position.

It’s best to wash them at least once every year. This will help protect the panels from damage and will improve their efficiency. Homeowners can clean their panels themselves by blowing them off with a leaf blower and rinsing them with a garden hose, but this could void the panel warranty. We recommend that homeowners invest in a professional maintenance appointment for a deep cleaning and inspection of their entire solar system once per year.
